Lamella clarifiers with grit and sand removal system
Purpose and principle of operation
The lamella clarifiers with grit and sand removal system are used to remove unemulsified, deemulsified products of oil processing, greases, and substances similar to them by physical and chemical properties from industrial wastewater, considering that the quantity of oil pollutants is not limited. They are installed in overland or underground position.
The TehOilSand treatment complex removes the remains of oil products and mechanical pollutants from wastewater masses. Its operating principle is based on the separation of oil-product elements in the mode of thin layer spread of wastewater through a layer of oil product. Climatic modification is U-5 as per GOST 15150-69.
The operating principle of REEF company's separator is simple and effective. Influent flows to the separator reservoir through the inlet pipe 6. On the plates 3 of thin layer unit installed in the compartment the suspended particles of mineral and mechanical pollutants are finally separated. Mineral pollutants deposit on the bottom of reservoir.
Preliminarily treated water flows to an inclined tray through the distributor and is passed in a thin layer over the tray through an oil layer. And then, already clarified of oil contaminations, flows to the lower part of reservoir. While all oil pollutants are trapped in the oil layer.
As the mass of oil layer increases, it overflows through a dividing partition into the pocket of oil separator and is led out of the station through the branch pipe installed for this purpose.
The clarified water effluent of lower zone is carried over the pipeline equipped with the level regulator 8 into the pocket of clarified water and is removed from the system. A special pump removes the sediment from the bottom of the system.
